OUR BIOGRAPHIES
OMV
Full Throttle Gospel Band
PAUL BOHNWAGNER-----Paul is by far the most diverse member
of OMV Full Throttle Gospel Band having played in several bands
from High School to present.
Originally from Ipswich,
Massachusetts, Paul enjoys a wide range of music from
Blues & Rock to Gospel & Bluegrass. He is also our on-stage
band leader, musical arranger, sound man & equipment guru.
Paul plays acoustic & electric six-string guitars as well as
an occasional electric bass guitar & sings our bass harmonies &
every once in a while can even be coaxed into taking lead vocals
on several of our songs. Paul started picking with Jordan in a
church group in the early nineties and their long-lasting friendship
& musical endeavors continue through their work in OMV Full Throttle Gospel Band.
JORDAN LINDSEY-----Jordan is a life long follower of Country,
Gospel and Bluegrass music and started playing a guitar in grade
school.
After joining up with Paul in the early nineties, he quickly
realized there were too many guitars in the group so he picked up a
mandolin to add a different sound. Although he will occasionally play
an acoustic six-string or even a 12-string guitar on some of our songs,
his favorite by far is the mandolin. Jordan does most of the on-stage
emcee announcements, scheduling & promotions & sings lead or high
harmonies on most of our songs. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jordan is
a life long member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
and thoroughly enjoys sharing his ministry through the Bluegrass Gospel
music of OMV Full Throttle Gospel Band.
soundchick----We really don't know much about soundchick
other than she has an awesome ear for tone and balance
and now runs the sound system for us. She just showed
up one day and said we needed her to run our sound system.
Her addition has made a tremendous improvement to our
overall sound and presence. soundchick also creates
many of the graphics, cards and flyers for the group.
